dx exhaust question

iv got a 99 dx coupe and I want to buy a catback exhaust. Can I put a cat back on even though my cat is in my manifold? There must still be a flange there or is there not?

Might as well buy the header so it will all fit. And no I do believe there isn't one there because there would be no need for one there.

just get a new header and cat. Or grab a Yonaka exhaust, that hooks up right to the stock cat

Why would you get a new header? Waste of money IMO. Unless you're going turbo.

It would bolt on to the down pipe. Which I believe is a two-bolt flange. So you would have to find an exhaust that would bolt to that.

Well it looks like I could just get a test pipe or something to fill the gap between the cat back and the back of #6

On my 98 dx, i'm running stock manifold with my cat still? and it's straight pipe it's not too loud and pretty quiet.
