I got a local shop to swap out my old 1.5 for a 1.6 from a crx. Mods are intake, headers, and MSD IGN. I noticed sometimes when I floor it just doesn't wanna go then 3 secs later it picks up and starts to go. I have new ngk plugs, apc 9.3mm wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, new coil. I replaced just about all the parts that can cause drivability issues. Has anyone delt with this problem??? I am wondering if they did the swap properly......

sounds to me that you may be flooding the motor which in turn causes itself to fall on it's face breifly.

its the same way with my swap man. im gonna replace the fuel filter today and then ill tell you what i got form it. is it like you hit the gas and itll like not wanna go and then it just kicks in? mine is that way and my tach is jumpin. when i hit it in second itll bog out and pop pop pop then it kicks in. ill hit u back up after the fuel filter is in. also how long did the car sit. it could be all the old gas not runnin right
