dying seats?

I've read countless threads about dying carpet but would the same thing work with seats? I have an 89 civic si and the fabric is cloth. thanks.

Rite Dye mixed with water... You would have to take the covers off of your seats and soak them for a couple of days, rinse them off and let them air dry then re-install....

ther are dyeing products designed for interiors but i hear it makes the fabric hard and crunchy.

From what I have read/heard the Rite Dye doesn't make it crunchy but it takes a few days to really soak in... And make sure to move the stuff int he water a lot so it gets in all area's

I helped my friend dye a teggy seat we put in his EG. We used the spray can interior dye. Yes, it got crunchy but we got a stiff (I'm talking the stiffest plastic bristle brush you can find) bristle brush and brushed the fabric in between coats. in the end it felt a little starchy but wasn't uncomfortable.

Yea not a fan of the spray..... rite dye baby
