I would guess 300 sq ft to be on the safe side and you'll have some left over... just a quess.. I have about 100sq ft and it seems like alot and all i wanted to do was the trunk lid and the doors...

Mmm square fett to doa whole car. Like 250. I'd jsut do the trunk the doors and any hinges like the hood hinge hood locktrunk hinges lol any of those. I helped install a few subs before and never put that carap une exterior parts. I pout it under my buds white lancer's spoiler and it runs when washed. If you want the bes sound quality do this. Go to any wallmart or w/e and buy 2 pool noodles. Cut it into as many 2" sections as you can. PLace the section under the sub woofer box. Let it sit as is fro a few minuted before cranking up the subs or driving. The sub box is unstable until the pool noodle sections compress. They'll compress to avbou 3/4" under th weight of the box and absorb any pulsations ans will aid in holding the subs to the floor so they dont slide. To make it stable and have good sound qaulity buy those trailer tie down straps. They have a metal hande that cranks em tight. Wrab em around the sub box and loop the through the little seat clip. Youll ahve to fold your rear seats froward to loop em thourgh. The seats should still lock even with the strap through the little U-bolt. crank them tight and put the pool noodle sections under neath. You can get any color pool noodle too and have sections of the pool noodle visible. His was black and the car white. We used a neopn green pool noodle and it looked pimp. Oh use round pool noodles. The ones with grooves dont lookt o good. They dont maintina they're shape they collapse ont hemselves kinda.

Except for the fact that the low frequencies are what causes vibration, so that wouldn't do s**t except the vibrating from the actual box itself....nice try though:roll:

Unless you have a lot of money though, I would look into alternatives to dynamat....as dynamatting a WHOLE car can get pricey. I would look into fat mat and brown bread. The lowest cost option I have heard of people doing is getting Ice Guard from lowes/home depot/etc... I can't imagine it being as effective but it is about a dollar a sq ft.

I swear by it bro. It works really well. Your trunk and stuff will still rattle fi yuo put it up loud but like the sound is soo much more hollow and evena bit deeper
