my bro has a turbo em2, on the DP he has 1 o2 and a wide band in the DP right after the turbo, the wide band we know needs moved, down further.

we have the other 02 on the partial exhaust i made for it.

now, knowing we have to move the o2 sensors around and all, would it be best to wait a month to finish the full turbo back exhaust or get it tuned light that

as long as the o2 sensor is at least 18" from the end of the pipe, to prevent the reading from being contamintated by fresh air, then hes fine to tune it. if the o2 sensor is too close to the turbo, the reading should be ok, you just risk melting the sensor and having to buy a new one.

the wideband i sreally close(right before DP opening)
and the o2 is right below that.

i told him to wait a month, i will finish the exhaust all up, then go get it tuned, btu he didn twant to wait

It depends. If I remember right you're going for 250-300 right? At that power level then a 3" exhaust will be "almost" open dp. The dyno you go to should have their own wideband that they will clip on the exhaust and go by that. I say its ok to get it tuned like that then finish the exhaust later.

On my car I got it tuned with a 2.5" open dp. I made low 190's. Then I got my full 3" and went back to the dyno and it actually made high 190's. I guess because it was a slightly cooler day. I turned the boost up with NO tuning and made 231whp.

You can restrict the exhaust a little without tuning but you never want to open it up without tuning.

no my bro is shooting for 200whp, 2.5 DP and that piece of exhaust, but the entire turbo back will be 2.5.

thats the pipe to quiet the exhaust so he dosent have to run open DP.

in a month, i will be cutting off the turndown and making a full exhaust, and we will be moving o2 and wideband sensors around

my crx will have full 3" DP and exhaust/w cutout for track and when ever i dont want to run the muffler

no emiisions here, but he has a EM2 so it cant be converted to OBD1. so piggybacks or a AEM EMS is the only option
