so... we finally strapped my car to the dyno yesterday, and with the help of Joseph Davis were able to squeeze 197whp and 210lbs tq out of the baby t25 turbo.

She makes 210tq at 3800rpm btw :D

Anyway, its alot of fun to drive, and my 3rd gear feels like my 2nd used to... Oh, and boost jumps to 20psi, and levels off around 14psi

that, my friend, is how a turbo'd car is SUPPOSED to run. you've done good. better than most turbo'd guys on this board. congrats.

20 psi is pretty damned high for a T25. is this a GT25? what compressor are you running? a/r exhuast?

it spikes at 20psi, and then levels out at 14.

Its a DSM t25. Im assuming its making alot of torque in the lower range because of how small the turbo is.

yea, im looking at getting a t28 replacement. They bore the t25 out and install a larger wheel, and port/polish, rebuild, etc. Its like $700

...also, camera is a nikon d80 with 18-200 lens. Heres my flickr gallery:

i'm not certain, but i believe the DSM T25s are a different bolt pattern and down pipe flange than GT25 turbos?

you might be able to get a GT28 w/o turbine housing, bore out your turbine housing, and then have a GT28 for a bit cheaper, and without having to do much, if any modification to your current setup. that would be cool, but honestly, i think you've got it right there. if you want more power than that, you're just silly.

maybe a GT25 would do you good just for reliability, a GT2860 wouldn't hurt your spool too much, but anything more would be detrimental. you done good!
