1999 Honda Civic EX

Just recently my emergency brake light comes on while im driving then it goes away and will do it for most of the time that im driving. It only comes on when Im accelerating.

Replace the switch.

Have you checked your brake fluid? If its just on the brink of too low, the light will come on while the cars in motions from the fluid swishing around and setting off the warning sensor. If thats the case, then you have a brake fluid leak somewhere.

My light came on a couple days ago. I checked the brake fluid level and it looked good. I put just a slight pour of fluid in and light went away. I didn't feel anything weird in the brakes, so thats why I was just thinking it needed a splash of fluid.

Yup low fluid will trigger the light. Check that first.
