Hello Gents,
I have read up on a few of the threads pertaining to this topic but i haven't found anything detailed enough for me.
I have a 98 Civic Ex and i have a dragging ebrake. I don't believe it is related to the drums at all because this only occurs when i pull my ebrake. I checked the drums about a year ago and everything checked out, springs, shoes, etc. I have never worked on an ebrake before and i am curious how to take the cable out and to check and see if it is ceased??? I understand there are two cables that connect in the middle of the car somewhere to the Ebrake lever in the car. That is about all i know. Do anyone have any advice?? I'd sincerely appreciate it

take out your console between the seats, you'll see everything you'll need to there.

Okay that makes sense for unhooking the lever. What about the rest of the assembly? When i disconnect the ebrake from each drum for example??

I have the same problem, and it has nothing to do with under the console. For me it's something related to the drums. One side sticks, especially when it's cold...
