ive decided to put the turbo back into my car.I now have to make the decision of what electronics to use for good tuning.ive come down to either getting a greddy re-flashed new e-manage from my buddy,or getting the hondata ecu setup from jackson racing which looks very nice but is like $1300.anyone have any suggestions?

sence you live in DE i would go with greddy emange b/c I know people around here that can tune that for you and if you get hondata no place around here can tune that and the closest place in philly the guy that does it has a bad rep.

:werd: Find some shop that can do tuning, and that you can trust, and decide from there.

Uberdata is starting to catch on. I don't understand why more people don't stick with it.

speaking of hondata, is it normal for idle to be bouncing back and forth?

i have never before heard of uberdata, who sells it?i thought that hondata was good, apparently not.i just want something that i can tune my fuel well with,i am going with a plx wideband and i will have 440cc rc injectors.the e-manage just seems kickass too because in the future if i get a profec e-o1 i can connect the 2 together.

hondata is great, the idle thing is due to tuner retardation... uberdata is a free form of hondata, you need to burn and mod your ecu yourself. i priced uberdata and hondata... the guy who tunes does great jobs, i asked how much for the tuning and ecu work for uberdata (450 including obd1 harness and dyno tuning. hondata will cost about 1000 with tuning) hondatas website you can buy a socketed p28 with s200 boost option for about 700 bucks i think. but if you had tochoose between the two, get the hondata.

ive been messing with the uberdata...... After reading TONS about them both, i think (if your the do-it-yourselfer) that Uberdata is the best choice. But if your not tuning it, who cares how easy/hard it is to make work. Hondata has been around for a while, and so it has a few more features. I agree with Sean though... if it came down to someone else doing the tuning, get hondata. Go over to the Uberdata site, and register.... check out the forum (and how supportive the creators are) and make a choice. If you have a question, just ask on the board. Unlike Clubcivic, you wont get flamed.

for you sir (tuning yourself on a WB) i think Uber would be the best...... Ditch the E-manage.....

if you go with the emanage, be sure to check out the e-manage yahoo group... great info, plus u can download the support tool there for your pc.... the problem, however, is getting the cable...
