Ebay projector headlights?

I currently have an HID kit in the stock halogen housings, and I'm getting tired of all the light refracting everywhere. I can't seem to find a cheap source for HID retrofits, so I'm probably going to go with a regular aftermarket projector setup for now. Does anyone have any experience/comments on ebay projectors? I've heard TYC is good, but they also seem pretty expensive. Other suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance

The headlights are kinda a pain in the ass to put in because you have to drop the bumper. As far the install loosen the four bolts and the headlights comes out. My headlights have the halo in them as well, you have to find the pos and the neg on your parking lights and connect the two and your done. Just check everything before you put your bumper back on. Hope that helps.

What I've heard is that d2s bulbs will fit in any projector that uses H1, since the bulbs are nearly the same size/shape, but just a little longer. But the main reason I asked was for beam pattern quality. For those of you with no-name ebay projectors, how do yours look compared to TYC or HID projectors? Thanks

stock headlights put out far more light than projectors. they shouldnt call them projectors, they are more like restrictors.

I have the ebay projectors with the halos, I like them alot... except for the fact I was using xenons in my stock headlights and I fried the harness, I had to make a new one. I think the projectors look much better at night, compared to stock, although they are less bright. But some HID's would look awesome.

Me too... that's why I asked the question. My HIDs in the stock headlights have a shitty-ass beam pattern. Here's a pic:
