Depends on who your buying it from. Surprisingly there is actually FAKE SSAutochrome parts on eBay, but thats the risk you always take on ebay. Just becareful. I'd rather save up and buy something nice.. like DRAG or Greddy or something.

yah, i just saw one on ebay, chrome, ready for a t3/t4 turbo going for like $145...

hell, i mean, if it works it works...it's all just pipes, right? i dont care if its real chrome or w/e...

ive seen pictures of their epoxyd turbo's and cracked headers after 500 miles worth of use.

invest in a good header, it will save you from headaches later down the road when the LAST thing you wanna do is waste money on another header

the manifolds flow well. very well actually, the design they use is quite sound. the quality however is another story. there are plenty of people using the latest gen ssac manifolds and turbos with very good results. there are also a lot of failures. it is a bit of a crapshoot whether you'll get a good unit or a bad one.

h-t has a bunch of writeups on how to reinforce their shitty welds with your own. if done right, it could be bulletproof
