I got an eclipse pa5422 4ch. amp and im thinkin about running it in 3ch. mode with the 3rd channel on a sub. Im havin a hard time finding the specs on the amp in 3ch. I need to know what it will put out per ch. so i can start searching for a sub that will work well with it. Even the owners manual doesnt show the 3ch. specs. heres the others so let me know what u think. 85wx4ch@4ohm, 120wx4ch@2ohm, 240wx2ch@2ohm. Those r all rms #'s

I run this type of setup with a Boss BL1600, here is what you should do. Run the both right speakers from ch1 in parallel and left from ch2 in parallel. Set the gains to an appropriate listening level, it won't take alot of power to get the level you need. For your sub bridge ch3 & 4 to give you 170w rms. Only run 4 ohms or greater when bridging channels. Find an sub around 150-200 rms for a good match.

yeah i planned on running the 1st 2 front channels on a component set and using the rear 3rd and 4th channel bridged on a sub. I was just lookin to what u guys think will be the power output for the three channels. Yes all speakers would be running 4ohm. Would it be 85wx2+ 170w on the 3rd channel?
