Alright guys, i have a 97 civic hx, i have previously done a headswap to a y8 and built the motor, anyways. Car has been running fine for the past few months, i have also done an auto > manual swap on the car for an fyi. Car has been running fine, just threw a System too lean code every so often, which was understandable seeing as how i have ebay header and the primary 02 sensor only reads off of one runner. but now i have gotten a full ex exhaust with a hi flow cat, bolted everything up and i had gotten an extension harness for the primary and secondary 02 sensor. Well i bought the extension harness of ebay and the guy who put the s**t together didnt know how to wire correctly, and the wires were not going to the corresponding places on the harness. , so they were mixed up. Now i threw a cel but i go to pull the code and low and behold i get primary 02 sensor heater, etc. Well this was right after i put the harness in the car, it was idling alright but i thought i should get a new 02 sensor. Well it started idling at 1500 last night and i went to autozone to pull codes, i get IAT, CPS, AND TPS codes (All of which are high input codes btw), WTF(NONE OF THE 02 SENSOR CODES SHOWED UP). So i check all those sensors and they are fine, the supply voltage from the ecu is fine. Now here is where the wierd stuff happens, i did not have the secondary o2 sensor connected before, but when i connect it the TPS code goes away.... it boggles my mind that i had the secondary 02 sensor unplugged and it does not throw a code for it now, but the tps code goes away when i connect it. Im thinking that i may have fried the internal circuitry on the ECU, i have ordered a new P2P ecu and i will see whats up with it. what do you guys think?

my theory is that i had faulty wiring on the extension harness for the 02 sensor and this has somehow fried the ECU.

man 41 views and no answer... But i should be getting the ecu in sometime this week and i will report to you guys what happens. I put my chipped obd1 ecu and everything panned out fine. If it wasnt for inspection i would have left the obd 1 in there, but emissions inspections suck, i guess it is okay since im obd2, but still they suck
