compressions fine in every cylinder, plugs spark and all that.
cylinder 3 wasnt receiving fuel so i was thinking fuel injector but before i went out and spent basically $100 i wanted to make sure it was the fuel injector. So i swapped my injectors for 3 and 4 and sure enough, 3 still was dry and idle didnt change when pulled.

The only other thing i can think of is the fuel rail, or the computer. im leaning more towards the computer due the the circumstances, just looking for more experienced opinions please.

its a 96 ej8 coupe with a 99 b16a2 swap from an SI, (95% of whats under the hood is from the SI ), the computer is a p28

ANY suggestions or comments are much appreciated, i really wanna get my baby back on the road

edit - oh CEL is on for crankshaft position sensor but i had a space distributor and tried every combo with the distr.'s and sensors - can re aligning the crank shaft (if needed) potentional fix the problem?

Crank won't have anything to do with firing the injectors. Have you inspected your connections at the injector and tested for voltage with a meter? Check at the ECU as well and make sure the pin hasn't fallen out. Being that it's swapped, You or someone else had to have done some wiring at the ECU so the pin may have been bumped loose. Do a google search for P28 pinout and you'll see where to start.

Good luck!
