ecu tuning question

ok my brother has a p28 ecu in his 91 hatch with a zc. We are going to attemt to tune it(before that we are going to do alot of research) i just got the new version of uberdata from some web site. I need to know how to connect the program to the ecu. I am really new to this and have been reading about it all day but noone has anything posted on where to connect or even what trype of cable to connect it. If it is at all possible can anyone give me some tips from where they have tuned there's. when we are done we will post a "how to"

u need a laptop, a cable to conntect to the ecu, chip burner, some chips, a wideband, rom editors, and some other programs. keep reading the uber forum.. http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum/
