EG cx A/C blower motor. I got a problem.

I'm trying to put A/C in my hatch. Today I took out the cx blower motor to install a A/C blower. When I got it all all hooked up, the blower didn't come on. I hit the switch from " fresh air" to "recycled air" and it switched over fine so I know power is down there somewhere.
I turned my car off and back on and the blower worked in all four speeds. I turned the car off and back on again just to make sure it would keep working but it didn't come back on till about 9 restarts later. So I hooked up my old blower to see if it would work and now it doesn't work either. I'm kinda stumped. Tomorrow I'm going to replace the fuses just in to be sure that's not the problem.

Could it be your Speed switch? Mabe the blower motor resistors? Mabe a broken wire connection that makes contact when the car shakes just right? Besta luck.

Thanks bro. I'll check those out. Could a lower grade fuse be causing a shortage in power? The wiring for the old blower was strictly wired only for hot air.

if you can, get a wiring diagram and trace it out and but id agree with new vega possible blower resistors

I found out the problem. Faulty rely. When it gets heated, it shuts off the power. In case anyone is wondering, the new rely is $41 at autozone.
