EG,EK Models?

Hey everyone..when ive looked at alot of these JDM parts...The models eg,ek and a few others come up? I was wondering if these are just referring to the japanese model civics and so on?

ummm i think...if your looking for parts for your car look under eg

They refer to chasis code. I believe 92-95 is EG. But don't take my word on that because I'm not good with anything but motor model nomenclature. Do an internet search on Honda chasis code.

They refer to the years of the chassis. Its like this:
1. 92-95 is a EG
2. 96-00 is an EK
Im not sure about the 88-91 or the 01+.

The letters are just the chassis code for the model year of the car and what part goes with what model.

the 99-00 are EJ not EK

^^ ej8 is 96-00 ex and ej6 is 96-00 dx and in is also ek as in the type r

the 88-91 is EF and umm... i forget what 01+ is. but i know the si or type r hatch is EP
