What do you drive? If its a VX then I would guess its a shift light similar to my HX. Itll light up to indicate fuel efficient shift points. If you shift efficiently then you wont see it light up. Ive noticedvwith my HX that if you drive inefficiently for long enough that it stops lighting up until you begin driving efficiently again. Inspect the gauge cluster harnesses to ensure no wiring is damaged.
Or... perhaps someone swapped in a VX cluster at some point. Again, Im not very familiar with this gen so this is my best guess.
So in this picture its just a generic random cluster i found online...but where u see the circle at...since i had my hatch ive always wondered why mine has a green arrow pointing up...not once has it ever came on. Now i qwant to know if anyone here knows exactly its function or what i can do to get it to work
