on what motor? D? B? K?

And for the "T", the elect. sender should screw right into it.

screws into the "T" fitting.. basically, the "T" you can get at a hardware store, if you don't already have one. It is 1/4" NPT threading. Should have one male, two female ports. unscrew your factory OPS, screw in the "T", then screw the factory sender in one hole, and the aftermarket one in the other. If I had my book in the house, I'd tell you exactly where it goes, but it's in the car, and it's raining. so I ain't gettin it ;)

DONT mount the sender on the T for the one millionth time.. (maybe not to you but).. if you mount the sender incorrectly it could snap and spray oil everywhere..

http://autometer.com/download_instruction/0621B.pdf

it is correct to put in the T.. run approved braided line to the sender which is mounted (normally) on the fire wall..

edit:

unit is to be installed on a high vibration application such as a full race
engine or engine capable of high RPM, it is strongly recommended that
the sender be remote mounted to either the fenderwell or firewall, to
insulate from vibration. Failure to remote-locate pressure senders on
such an application could result in gauge failure and potential
damage to vehicle and/or operator injury. Braided stainless steel lines
are sold separately by Auto Meter, and can be used to accomplish this.

theres no reason they would nto be acurate providing its a reputable brand.. ive had three dif fuel preasure gauges for example.. B&M autometer mechanical and autometer electrical and they all read the same values... ;)

Amen, OC..

BTW, Blahman, the D-series Oil pressure sender (factory) is located on the back of the motor, just above the oil filter.

alright, so say I bought a sandwich plate... this gauge is part of my future turbo set up, so I need the sandwich plate anyways, couldn't I just use a port off the sandwich plate for the oil pressure gauge?

I'd assume so, but unsure. if there is an available port, I can't see why you couldn't ;)
