well, i don't really post much on problems, well i don't post much at all but this one has me puzzled. i droped an ls into a 94 ex coupe last week and got it up and running. i drive the thing to school and it makes it fine. one day i am driving it around and all of the lights and electronics start blinking or pulsating basicly. it just got worse and worse and the guage cluster eventually got wacked out too. it dosen'tt do it all the time though, sometimes it will do it, and then all of the sudden it will stop then come back . i put a new battery in it b/c i thought thats what it might be, but after that i started it up and it was doing it, then i shut it off and turned it back on and it didn't do it until i revved it and it started again. i am not sure what it could be, but any suggestions would be great. thanks guys

all the grounds are good, it was doing it a little this morning, not bad though, then i drove around came back and it stopped, hasen't done it again yet today, the only thing i can think of is the alternator is on its way to the shitter.

doesn't sound like the alternator... usually, your car will just "slowly" die... i've had several honda's just start to slow up, the lights dim, then all power starts to go... that's how my honda alternators have always died.

sounds more like a wiring issue... checked all the connections on the back of your cluster, etc? correct fuses for the internal electronics?

Okat, it has to be the positive on the alternater. check that. Also check it where that same harness lead into the fuse box under hood, It is a problem with a lose connection. If it wasnt ground, its the hot

Ha, it's been forever since I have been on this forum and upon reading some of my ancient posts I would like to conclude that the problem was within the harness to the alternator. A few frayed wires were shorting each other out. Just figured I would post in case anyone needs or has same problem in the future.
