Electric/Wiring issue?

Recently my car has been acting weird. When I change gears from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd, the deck in my car just randomly turns off and restarts itself. It'll work fine for about 15 minutes but after that, it keeps shutting on & off every 20 seconds and it's EXTREMELY annoying. My guess is that something might be wrong with the wiring? Has anyone else had this problem with their Civic? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

If it helps, it's an old Alpine deck. It was in the car when I bought it so I didn't install it myself.

Is only the Alpine deck affected?

What year/trim Civic do you have? Any mods or is it stock?

take it out and check the wiring/fuses, sounds like a janky install.
