Just from what I can tell from the graph that you posted I take it the CX cluster is your original cluster and the EM2 cluster is the one you are trying to install. Forgive me for not knowing which is which, i'm just an electrical tech. The CX column is showing your factory wiring and what function it has. The EM2 column is showing which wire from your factory harness goes to which color on your EM2 harness. For example Green on your EM2 harness goes to black on your factory harness which is ground, but at the same time you have multiple greens on your EM2 harness so you can't just go by that. Your best bet would be to get a schematic wiring diagram for each cluster so you know the pin locations and what they do and use a multi meter for your factory harness if you have cut off the plug to test each wire so you know what it does. For example your trunk light/indicator that your trunk is open should go ground or positve when your trunk is open and the opposite when it is closed. Hope that helps. It's all I can offer with the info you gave.

EDIT: It also seems that the chart is incomplete and not all matching so you will probably have to go the route of both schematic digrams to be on the safe side.

I read through the original DIY (link) and wasn't really impressed with this guy's ability to communicate wiring connections.

I agree with xWIREMANx, but again, it's unfortunate that the original guy wasn't very consistent with his conversion diagram.

A multimeter is going to be your best friend for this install.

I found a better-looking DIY here, post #16: http://ht-archive.org/showpost.php?p=41836951&postcount=16

In addition, you can partially check what this writeup says with this '02 Civic EX coupe wiring diagram:

Not sure if this helps at all, but I hope it does. The videos with the red seventh gen cluster in a sixth gen look super cool.
