I have a 94 civic coupe with d15 b vtec with cold air intake, exhuast, and headers and its an automatic as a daily driver. Since its and automatic(til manual conversion) im looking for a boost i researched an electronic turbo system and am trying to get some feed back from clubcivic.

I would wait until after you swap your manual tranny before you do anything related with forced induction. Your auto tranny won't hold up very long. What kind of electronic turbo system did you research?

its the same thing man. its all a scam. they are not real turbos, they are plastic junk-0-rama. they spin at one speed when you hit a switch. real turbos spool as you give it gas, pumping more air into your engine the faster you go. that electro-crap-o-matic junk would choke out after 4,000rpms i bet. dont waste your money. would you trust a plastic tube with a fan blowing into your intake? s**t would go down... bad s**t. dont do it maannnnn!!!!!!!

atleast they don't lie on their dyno sheets. http://www.electricsupercharger.com/dyno.shtml I haven't seen anything over a 5hp gain on any car.
hahahah!

can anyone read this blurry piece of s**t?

You can link 6 of those e-turbos together and run 6psi right? :rolf: :rolf:

It's bullshit. I'm calling them out on it.

Bullshit. The kind that would make even Teller say "Bullshit!" if Penn Gillette would ever shut the hell up.

I've already stated the problem with the "electric turbo" so many times it's making my eyes bleed.

Simple effin' thermodynamics.

Sure they do....

But you gotta' drag around like 4 extra car batteries.

So yeah, you get a small gain on the dyno where weight is not a factor but on the street or track you gain little.

It would probably be more effective to rig up two high torque DC electric motors to direct drive the rear wheels. A homebuilt hybrid or "on demand all wheel drive." :rolf:

you'd get better results by going to sears hardware, buying a craftsman leaf blower.... hook it up to the intake mani, then anytime you wanna go fast or race, get out, pop the hood, fire up the leaf blower and then use a zip tie to hold it at WOT then have fun.... I wager you'll get more PSI from that than those turbonator things :D
