Element antenna on 96

Is this possible? I was looking at the antenna base and its a little wider but if the wiring is the same could this work?

It might sit at a funny angle if you put it on the pillar. I think it's meant to be mounted on a flat surface. As far as connections and mounting go, the connection should be the same, but who knows with the mounting. Check the schematics on HondaAutomotiveparts.com. Still, it would be inetersting to see. I've been looking for a nice roof mount stubby antenna myself

Yeah, the mounting surface may not work. I think the stubby ones belong in the back. It may look funny on the pillar

I was thinking of getting one of those for my car b/c the antenna is broke but I opted out for a factory antenna for my year civic instead. I looked at one that required drilling and mounting in the roof and I said NO way im not drillling holes in anything.

^^^ why not drill? rust is great. Drops the weight of your car, and as all ricers know, that makes it faster.
