I didn’t know that the ELM327 Bluetooth CAN-BUS scan tool can use on mobile phone system phone android and symbian, which I heard before was an application cost $25 and I didn’t know if the application is One-off charge I can’t remember the name….
So how to use the elm327 on android to do the diag, because the web didn’t tell the detail, I wonder if it really work and how.
Does anybody use the bluetooth OBD reader? Hope this will help me solve my issues

There's an app in the Google Play store called Torque. There's a free and a paid version. It will let you connect to the elm327 bluetooth OBDII reader and read fault codes, clear them, and show RPM and other stuff. It's pretty cool and it works.

I use it on my 98 Civic CX hatch 5MT, my 96 SAAB 900 SE turbo hatch 5MT, and my '10 Mazda3 s Sport hatch 6MT. Should work with any OBDII capable ECU, though some cars will provide more PIDs and functions than others.

No problem. Beats having to drive to AutoZone and you can actually clear the codes too.

I know this is an old thread but I'm posting because this proves I've searched.

Has anyone had any experience with the bluetooth elm327 adapter in a 1999-2000 civic si em1?

I'd like to know because I have one and it's not connecting to the ecu.

I bought one of the cheap ELM327 adapters, and I had a similar problem. The adapter worked on every vehicle I tried it on, except for Hondas. Wouldn't work on my 99 Civic, my neighbor's 00 Accord, or my Dad's 06 Accord. I contacted the seller and was sent a replacement. Turns out, the first unit I received was pinned incorrectly during manufacturing. Second one worked, and is still working like a charm.
