Engine and Gearbox Oil

Just wondering what make and type of engine and gearbox oil all us europeans are using?

Gonna be changing mine in a week or to so just want some opinion. They seem to like the Royal Purple stuff for gearbox but cant get it over her in the uk.

Also thinkng about adding some ZX1 which my mate raves on about.

i dunno not know that oil is used in my tranny, but i use Fina oils for me motor

I did not like the Royal Purple. I had valvetrain noise and the same thing happened to my boss' Corvette. You are not missing anything.

You should be able to get Bel-Ray Synthetique at a motorcycle shop. It's good for Honda transmissions. It has additives in it to protect against gear shear because it's designed for motorcycles. (whose engines and transmisssions share the same oil)

i you go to the honda delar they have a manul trans oil now that is the best

yes, some people go and get it from landrover becasue its cheaper and the same as honda MTF, however its worth the money IMO

just buy the honda OEM fluid..only cost me 3 bucks a bottle, an i bought 3 bottles, thast the best thing you can use imo for the trans...as far as oil, i use mobil 1 5w30 synthetic

for my d15b2: castrol magnatec gtx 10w40 (engine and gearbox too)
for my b16a2: castrol rs formula 10w60, and for the gear box, mobil1 10w50

(original european spec)
