My d16y7 head got rebuilt last week. I got the car back two days ago and today I went on my first long ride.
Well before i got it rebuilt my 4th cylinder wasn't working and also the engine would shake during braking when you are in first and going about 5mph or under.
When I picked up the car I drove it for a bit and everything seemed fine, the egine would not shake at all and all 4 cylinders were working. BUT now about two days after on my way to school I notice when the car was idling the engine would still shake. the car DOESNT shake/feel like it wants to turn off when braking now and I can tell the car has more power and is running better.
so my question is why is my engine shaking during idle? Its about less than 16 degrees today in CT. Could it be the cold weather? Im clueless on why it still shakes.
