I have a 1998 Honda Ballard (civic) 150i LX which is making a consistant noise on tha left side of the engine, around the timing belt/pully and water pump area. im suspecting the water pump or maybe the timing belt cover as it sounds like some sort of abbrasive sound. the noise in in sync with the engine raving so wen u acceralate it follow through as well. what could be causing this noise?. when i purchased the vehicle it hade broken the timing belt so i got it replaced with a new one 5 month ago so im not sure weather the noise existed before the belt replacement. please help with your advise...
