how did the obd1 conversion work out for u? does it throw a check engine light or anything? just curious cuz dont u need this for hondata?

Nice and what is that thing to the right of the motor? Its on all 6th gen civics and i have always thought about it. Its the horn looking thing that has the black cable going into it. Please tell me because its starting to bother me.

hey i noticied that you have a bypass valve on your CAI, did you install that yourself, is it hard to do?

Thanks guys! Yea, thats the cruise control. No VX, I didn;t install the bypass valve myself, simply because I didn't have the tools. You need a cold saw to cut a chunk out of the intake tube. It only cost me like 20 bucks though.

And AZNSprmm: regarding the OBD I conversion, if modified correctly the only way for it to throw an engine light is if you remove your catalytic convertor, but its still detecting the 2nd O2 sensor, so there would be a change in emissions. But I am able to run a straight pipe with this one. Like I said in my last post the ECU I am using is from a DX, modified for my SI. My mechanic is really good at electrical goodness.

its for your cruise its like a vacum to keep your cruise at the right speed

thanks, I wipe it down with degreaser whenever I wash my car, If you wanna get your guys that clean...it only takes 10 minutes and it makes a big difference.
