engine runs stereo shuts off

i wired up a sony deck and when i start the car it shuts off but willwork in the accesorie and other position can anyone tell me what i did wrong

i'd go over and check all of the wiring, fuses and things like that. check the ground, etc.

you hooked the power wire up to a non-constant when the engine is running...rewire ftw

Re-wire and look at the directions to see a wire diagram... im sure theres one in there.
