engine swap help please

My 97 ls motor blew only enginge I could get was same year ex v- tec engine didn't get ecu or wire harness. Swaped engine's and pretty much all plugs matched but the erg valve and back off intake manifold.car turns over but wont start. Its getting spark and fuel and battery good. I would appreciate any help to get it started

Also my dizzy is. From non v-tec could that cause it to not have enough spark to start

I'm no expert, but I'd have to say that having the wrong ECU is most likely your problem.

Having the correct obd version of the distributor helps unless you wire it properly for the swap
