i was thinking on doing an engine swap i wanted if ne knows if a h22a would fit my 96 civic ex??.....any info can help me n if ne has done it ... where would be the cheapest place to buy them?...or the best engine for my civic w/ the most hp.....thanks...

yes it will fit but you have to buy a few things to keep it in steady..... around $5,000 for everthing

yes it is.me and my sister used one of there motors in her crx.it runs great.

Just turbo a B18C1. I've lost track of how many times I've suggested this. They should sticky this under some sort of "The best swap for my civic" title or something...

An H22 will fit, but I don't think you'll be able to keep your A/C unless they've made a relocation kit for it now. A buddy of mine had an H22 powered EK Hatch (it's sold now)... ran a 13.? (I don't remember exactly) on street tires. He had a lot of work put into that car... refabbing the engine bay so the motor and tranny would fit.

Just go with a B18C1. Much easier, plus you can keep your A/C.
