engine swap

hey everyone i just bought a 99 civic coupe dx last week for $3500 with 162k miles. at 125k the owner added new timing belts, transmission,clutch, suspension and new tires!!! its all stock. and i wanna do an engine swap but cant determine which engine should i go with. a b16a2 or b18c1. im not sure im just tired of my slow 1,4l 4cyl that i can barely get up over a hill. i just want something faster but good on gas also... im open to all suggestions..... i cant wait to start doing upgrades on this baby.

Anything with more power will sacrifice fuel economy. You cannot go wrong with either choice, but if your looking for more power than that go with a K series. A b series engine should be a fairly easy swap due to the fact the isn't much or any fabrication needed. For a k swap you are going to need some fabrication. There are threads on here that can help you out so through the process so just skim through them to get an idea of what it is like.
