engine temperature isn't work (civic 1995)

the engine temperature gauge in the cluster is not working . how to fix it?
second question , I'm about to buy a new battery. what battery is recommended ? I don't know how much Amp is my current battery .

Model? Trim? Engine? Mods? Need more information. If you can't provide it then do a search.

Why not look on the side of the current battery and use that?

Either your gauge is f**ked or the sending unit is, figure out which one it is.

I pulled the battery. Nothing written. Just a warning - do not throw to garbage and something about Lead Acid
