does any one know what a 99 civic vti engine should be?
i have doubts that my engine is not a vti engine

and also i would like to know that by changing the head or the car will it increase HP?

There are also the ESi and LSi. I forget what else...

YES you are right our vti is equivelant to your si.
two engine codes 1.6 litre B16a2
1.8 litre B18C4
Both DOHC engines..

na i m from Pakistan we used to have Vti and Exi....Vti was a 1.8 b18c5 we dint have the 1.6 in pakistan. it was kind of expensive like in US dollars about 24000$, most of teh peope use it ther!!! tht is teh common car used in our country!!! hmm as i have been out for a year i guess they have changed teh engine in the new models!!!

the exi was a 1.6 non-vtec model! about 15000+

we dint have coupes or hatchback only sedans!

some thing different we have anither honda car ther used to be known as Honda City!!! it was 1.6 but real powerful in pickoff!!! non-vtec, they just came out with a new model and it looks good.
and has a i-dsi engine in it!
