Earlier today, I had to push start my 1994 Honda Civic due to a separate issue that was mentioned in a previous post. As a result, I received a solid "CHECK ENGINE" light, followed by checking the codes with a paper clip, leading to two long blinks, followed by one fast blink (i.e. Error Code 21)
So far, I've attempted to disconnect the negative battery cable, followed by pulling the 15amp fuse that's located under the hood to clear the ECU. The problem still persists. As near as I can tell, I'm not seeing any oil leaks, the idle isn't surging, plus the oil was changed two days ago.
My question to the forum is how or why could this happen after push starting the vehicle and how long will can I drive my car this way before servicing the part?
