ES Univ Oval Muffler

Thinking about buying the ES Universal Oval muffler. I heard this muffler was fairly quiet but offered a bit more than the stock muffler in regards to efficiency and performance. Is this true?Can anyone tell me if I should get the 2.25 or 2.5 diameter? Don't know what my current stock pipe Diameter is so would like a little help. Thanks for all your help in advance.

i thought about getting that same exhaust...i was gonna get the 2.5, only because thats what diameter piping i currently have...as far as it being quiet, i asked the guy from jdmhondaparts.com, and he said it is decent, not too loud

yeah, the price is definatly nice...where are you gonna order it from? i think www.jdmhondaparts.com is selling it for like $120, or $115....and they have the chrome finish muffler, and the flat black muffler (sleeper)....anyways, if you do get it, and install it, PM me with the results because im still looking to get a new exhaust

? I know it's my ride, I was asking if people had any experience with it, not if they think I should get it. Advice from people who have first had knowledge are better than any catalog or sales rep. Thank all, keep the info coming

looks would be a no, quiet - yes, and performace is just like any other exhaust, just about all exhaust system puts out almost the same power. if you going to get it, its better to complete custom piping instead of just welding it to your stock piping.

I was thinking of going with the ES oval/custom piping set up also...

I'm thinking about the Stillen axel back. Wouldn't this be just as good? And no custom welding.
