Hi guys my name is Ethan. I just purchased a 97 DX sedan with 226K.
The plan for the car is to be a Good/Cheap daily driver. I come from a Miata and BMW background.
I have a Miata drift car and I used to daily a stanced 02 325I. Yes im into the "OMG HELLAFRUSH" scene.

BMW had KW V.2 coils and XXR 009's 18x9.5 with 215/40/18's I daily drove this for about 4 years. But recently sold it to move out the parents house and get on my feet. I would have kept it but it was a bit to costly to maintain.

Then my miata that i still have is a 1992 with 1.6L long nose engine. Slammed on raceland coils:roll:
and on american racing mesh wheels. I completely rebuilt the motor a year ago after the short-nose crank snapped.

So on to the new car.
The Odometer says 160K but with a carfax it showed 226K got the price down considerably after that.
First things first Maintenance. Oil Change, New spark plugs and wires, air filter and fuel filter, tranny fluid change. I plan on using high mileage oil for obvious reasons. Will all be changed tomorrow.
The radiator hoses are all new(still have stickers) and the fluid was good and clean.

This is the only picture I have at the moment but Ill be taking many more.

Yeah the Beemer was sick but I know what you mean about the maintenance. Any plans to play with the civic or just DD and appearance build?

Thanks so much for the complements guys. The BMW was nice but I was living a bit beyond my means. Honestly, the plan is coils and wheels and full suspension refresh (all new bushings).
I may throw a short shifter, axle back exhaust, and maybe se prelude seats and a s2k steering wheel if I can get my hands on one.

Also are there any timing belt diy's?
I honestly haven't even looked for one yet. ?
