ex 97 4dr w/ls swap ecu/harness question

if i were to use and ls ecu on my vtec harness would it work fine or no? im doing an ls-vtec in a month or so just need it running what do you guys think

Depending on what head your swap, I would use the ecu that originaly came from that engine( ie gsr-p28ecu,ect..). And far as I know you'll have to wire up the knock sensor, vtec solenoid and(possibly the butterfly valves).

I would definitely recommend converting it over to OBD1 and use a chipped P28 ecu.

Then you can program it for the ls/vtec without the knock sensor.
