I put an ex cluster in my dx ek, need to know which prongs are ground, +12v, and tach on the new cluster tach connection.. I am wiring from the blue wire (diagnostic tach connection) near the hood prop thing... I can splice into another +12v and ground I imagine.. Anyone done this gauge swap before?

search the archived how-tos. i made a write up for a cluster swap. its plug and play, so dont mess with the wires. you can also see how to retain your milage by swapping speedos in that thread

right on. must have missed that somehow I searched here, h-t and google the other day for cluster swap.. anyway I got the new one in but there is another plug with three prongs & I have nothing to plug into it. I figured this was the tach connection and that I would have to wire it myself or something. So what I can tell from your how-to, just plug in all the plugs you have and & dont worry about extra ones, & you should have tach..
but yeah just ignore it..sick.
it's just plug and play... what are you guys talking about??????????????
