you can actually run 10psi abnd make about 200+ wheel pwoer if ptoperly done. I woudl recommend the newer greddy kit and a nice professionally installed fmic and bov along with having the e-manage tuned for it. doing those things the right way will ensure your car alsts and you can also enjoy it more.

psi has very little to do with the safety/reliability of a boosted setup....honda internals are good until 225-250 whp ON A GOOD TUNE

so as long as you are running a professionally tuned setup with a good fuel management system (crome, uber, hondata, etc) over 200 whp is cetainly not out of reach for stock internals.

if we are talking about a turbo kit for a D then they are all about the same. if we are talking abotu custom setups, then you can run spat all you want about psi this and psi that. He's asking a basic question about a basic begaineer kit. STICK to the subject shall we please?

If you running a basic kit like a greddy, apexi, edlebrock, or what ever, then again, 10 psi is fine on stocks with proper tuning and fueling.

do it ALL your self. You might learn something... and you'll save lotsa $.

oscar.... is it really that hard to "install" an intercooler that you need it "professionally" done? :roll

as already mentioned by the man with the plan, psi is all RELATIVE to the amount of cfm (cubic feet/minute of air) being blown by the turbo. Strength is measured by internals. 200whp is a-ok... 230whp is about the cap with a good tune...beyond that cross your fingers.

make sure you get it tuned, even if you build the internals and dont tune the engine will go KABOOOOOMMM!!!!

as long as you have it tuned you should be fine with 7psi
