Ok, i feel kind of dumb asking this but here it goes. I have a greddy evo2 on my si and i REALLY like the way it sounds, it has 2.5'' piping i believe. I'm not going to change it for a 3'' exhaust for my turbo setup. Something about my turbo project has been bugging me for awhile and i just decided to ask, I've searched all over and its probably been answered somewhere but either Ican't find it or it's not in the clear terms I would like. So, the downpipe im going to be using is a 3'', and my exhaust is 2.5'', i think i need a flange for it. So i was wondering if you guys could hook me up with some sites that have downpipe flange or adapter or whatever, that's the only thing right now im fuzzy on, and its stupid because its a simple question but i can't seem to find one. Thanks  =)

go 3".... the turbo will quiet down your exhaust itself and you should retain about the same sound

i don't really want to change exhaust's at all

ok its around 2.5 inch, is there any flange that would adapt the 3'' downpipe to that exhaust?

i really don't want to switch exhausts i have enough complications with my car right now with the turbo build..

plus, the gains of a 3 inch are not worth changing my whole exhaust when i could get a flange for like 50 bucks, i just don't know where to find one. someone has to have had those problem before.....ttt

kteller.com, cheapturbo.com and i believe jcwhitney.com all should be able to get you that flange. i have a 2.5" exhaust, thats fine for turbo, even a 2.5" dp is just fine. make sure to get a high flow cat with the dp and exhaust to maintain smooth flow.

Going West, arent you Nate**** on CSi? Your car looks familiar, plus you're local here in the Seattle area arent you? Maybe I've got you two confused. 8)

Anywho, call up Pinamotorsports. (253)872-9495 , or www.pinamotorsports.com . They specialize in DSM stuff, but also specialize in custom fabrication and exhaust work as well. You wont find cleaner welds than Andre (the owner) can do. Give them a ring and talk to Will, Nick, Andre, or Justin to see what they can do for you as far as that flange goes. They are located in Kent in the same business complex that Intec Racing is located in.

If they ask who sent you, tell them Derek did. ;)

yea, i was worried about a 2.5'' downpipe fitting with everything else...

http://www.af-performance.com/index.php?p=product&id=2&parent=56

thats the kit i am getting, not any time soon though. thats why i really wanted to fit a flange for it, i think im going to call the person that D grade referred me too and see if they can fab me up a flange that will connect the 3'' downpipe to my evo2, or i might just buy a 3'' exhaust and sell my evo, not sure yet. im still researching as you can tell lol, its going to be a LONG time before i save the money up for this, but it will get done

btw i do know how to weld but id rather not mess with this kind of stuff since i don't know much about it
