Exhaust For a DX on a EX?

I had a quick question about my full Megan Racing Exhaust system. I got the headers and Catback exhaust for my old 98 civic Dx but I sold the car before I put it in. Now I have a 00' civic coupe ex. Will my exhaust still fit?

No, the exhaust will not work. The DX/LX/CX engines have the cat built into the header so the piping is a different length.

You will either need an exhaust shop fab up an extension piece to fill the gap or you will have to buy another exhaust for an EX.

Do you have the header without the cat or is the exhaust your trying to put on the ex is the stock one for the dx with the cat built in the header?

The stock CX/DX/LX header won't mate up to an EX exhaust. You'll have to get an EX header, whether it be OEM or aftermarket. Unless you want to go back to a CX/DX/LX exhaust.

No I have the megan racing headers as well and the Megan racing drift spec catback exhaust.
