I have a yonoka cat back with a stock cat and stock header/ down pipe, well my cat went bad, so I purchased a new cat, magnaflow. Then i went to put the new one in, and found My stock header and downpipe could not be seperated (and re-used) due to corrosion and rust, so im like ok, I have a cheap ebay header and down pipe laying around, well put it all together with the cheap ebay header and downpipe, the new magnaflow cat and the same beautiful yonoka cat back ive had, well i start driving it and in first and third gear it sounds terrible, sounds like a rattling and a popping, which it sounded very quite before i put the new cat and header on, but now it sounds awful, I cant stand to drive it, its that bad, any ideas of what I may have done wrong, suggestions, anything please help, my ears may start to bleed if i have to continue to listen to that. Thanks!

did you torque it together correctly and use the correct gaskets for example the honda donut gasket that spaces the header from the cat and allows it to flex?

Make sure to torque everything down to the correct spec. Personally I wouldn't run an eBay header just cause its eBay lol. I'd say check out the Megan racing 4-1 header. Just got it for my em1 for only $189 and it sounds amazing.
