Exhaust Manifold Silent Recall??

I went to get a smog check for my '96 Civic today and the guy there told me there was a silent recall for exhaust manifolds. Is this legit? I thought I would check here first before talking to a dealer. Apparently they'll change the exhaust manifold, the cat AND the o2 sensors.

He also added that the offer was good for vehicles up to 180k.

The thing is he apparently got this info from one of his customers so... >_>

When I had my 96 EX I got a letter from Honda saying the emmission warranty was extended to 150k miles or 15 years if i remember correctly. It also said they will replace spark plugs at no cost too.

No idea but Honda replaced my o2 sensor, and some other stuff for free last year. Something about it still being under warranty. I was like warranty 13 years later......saved me alot of money. Maybe you should just take it in, and ask.
