Exhaust on '97 Civic EX...

hey guys... is there any exhaust system, that isn't massive like them damn azn's have... something similar to IS300 exhaust, somewhere around a 2"-3" tip, but a full system.

If anyone knows of any, or has suggestions, please let me know. Thanks

ok, i just got done looking... anything maybe smaller... i dont want anything huge... is there anything like straight piping that's fairly small sized... like civic SI exhaust... want to give it some look, but dont want anything huge and loud...

what are azn's and why do they have big exhaust's? I have a Tanabe w/ a straight pipe and that thing is f*cking loud as hell...I too, am looking for something quiter.

Magnaflow makes some mufflers with smaller tips on them.. I have one and I like it alot.... I can take a picture if you want....

the apex world sport would be perfect nice tip, and sound. the sound is not far form stock

I know the awnser to your question , but I'm not gonna awnser it. Cause I'm one of those " damn azn's ( asians ) " that has a massive exhaust system. Maybe next time , you should reconsider what you say before you talk s**t about someone whos willing to help you.

I have the Apexi WS (not pictured in sig, thats an old pic) and I think the tip is 4" or so, but unlike the fart cans some people throw on the Apexi (as well as the GReddy) are shaped like actual mufflers and just have a larger tip, as well as larger piping all the way back. It sounds very close to stock and I can hear my AEM CAI over the exhaust alot. I'd upload a picture but its a pain in teh ass because i need to resize due to the stupid 100kb rule

I have a flowmaster muffler with a 3" tip, dc header and high flow cat, it gives a really nice sound. Its gives a lower sound then those loud bummblebee mufflers.

I've got magnaflow cat-back w/ header and intake. Sounds really nice! After about 3500 rpm's you really can't hear the exhaust, just the intake. It's not very loud at idle up to 3500 either.

well... if you like the SI's, and you have a 6th gen coupe, go get a SI exhaust. Mugen claims that it is the best exhaust anyways. dunno how much faith u have in that... but its stock... and wont have a big tip.
