Id go with 3" for sure....(just better breathing period)

You should get it tuned for maximum output. But for the safety/longetivity of your motor, I dont know. Sorry.

with a turbo you want to run it big on the exhaust so make it 3" to make sure there's no backpressure.

yeah, you're gonna want something big... backpressure on turbo = bad news.

3" is pretty much teh optimal size you will need. It will allow the turbo to spool a bit quicker also.

you wont need to change timing with the edelbrock kit...

i would recommend thermal 3 inch or custom kteller 3 inch exhaust and then whatever muffler you please on the end of it...

I wouldnt even go that big even on a turbo 4 cylinder. But my boy Tom from Redline Performance down in Georgia had a 4+" on is RB26DETT powered 240SX. That b***h was huge. Took him 3 months to get it all done. It was such a tight fit that it looked like the car was built around the engine.

the piping coming off the kit is gona be 2.5 so keep everything from the turbo back 2.5 and all should be jolly

lol omg polished exhaust pipe? is that a show car or something?? otherwise that was a big waste of time or money lol. bling blinging tho. =)

2.5 or 3" is fine. whatever you can get ahold of. 2.5" is cheaper and easier to work with if your doing the install and fabrication.

but 3" is great because if you decide to keep on building and go with a bigger turbo or something you wont need to redo your exhaust.
