ok is a civic quieter with 2 mufflers?? or with one? or does it make the cars response time get shitty, bc of the added muffler?

The first part of your question is goin.g to get you vague responses. If there is room for two it is possible for it to be quieter depending on the muffler of choice. Next is the more resistance your exhaust has the less it can breath. But there again if you are using 3 inch pipe it can make up for some of the back pressure gained. With larger exhaust piping comes more harmonic vibration inside the pipe. There for it can become raspy or louder. Now if your problem is you have a cheap ebay muffler and the sound is driving crazy, there are two options. First is to put in a resonator this will help with the raspy sounds. Second is buy a nice exhaust. Other people may have a different approach to your question. Hope this is helpful yo you.

i had on my last civic just 2.5 inch custom bent piping with just an obx muffler and there was no raspy at all

more air is going to come out of one muffler than the other so it'll still be loud..just get a stock muffler if you want quiet
BUT, if you do decide to put two mufflers on please post a picture

I want to know what 4cyl economy car is DESIGNED to have dual mufflers that actually serve a purpose and function, rather than look...


Just get a stock exhaust, or go w/ an integra exhaust. An after-market exhaust of ANY sort doesn't really add much power at all..just noise, so they're pointless unless the car is a bit more built.

I have a GSR exhaust on my coupe and I love it. Louder than stock civic piping, but still very quiet. Plus it looks good and I don't get dbags trying to race me b/c of some after market can on it.
