ok so i have an 07 si, and the only thing i have is a short ram intake and i want an exhaust system like a skunk 2 megapower R. ive read i should only get this because the megapower RR is meant for highly performance or turbo charged vehicles. but ive read on some sights that the same goes for the megapower R. im just wondering if its true that the R is meant for highly modded cars or if its a good for a car with almost no mods to a car. I heard it also boots ur hp and torque, just trying to see if its all true

The R and RR exhausts benefit the "most" from a highly modified car. The RR is for maximum output on fully built K20 or K24 setups and forced induction setups.

Adding an exhaust and freeing up exhaust flow can increase hp and tq. The amount of increase is based off of the supporting mods you have and if the engine is tuned or not.

If u want an exhaust for looks an sound, yes it will. I have a mega power r on my other ej1.
If u want it for power, u better get injectors, headers, fuel rail, cam/cam gears and a tune. Adding power is $

i wasnt expecting it to add crazy hp. i was expecting a little. i heard headers are a b***h, so im trying to see what i can do that wont be crazy expensive or a huge pain in the ass

Well anything besides a turbo or nos by itself won't ad boticible horsepower, the exhaust will for u a nice sound and look if that's all u want te exhaust is fine.

a bolt on k motor even untuned makes a noticeable difference. it's not like a b16

The exhaust manifold and catalytic converter on the K is a bottle neck... without doing a good header and high flow cat as well, it doesn't matter what exhaust you get, you're not going to feel much of a power increase no matter what you get... speaking from my personal experiance.
