Hey guys, im just curious if any of you are expierenced with the Apexi N1 or GReddy EVo during the winter time. IF you have either of these should you take them off in the winter? And do they rust (i live in michigan, lots of road salt and sand)

I'm not too sure if they're stainless steel, but if they are then you're good.

oh, btw, i don't think that aluminized steel holds up very well under those conditions from what i recall. i had a bud with a pacesetter monza exhaust on his ride and it was ALL kinds of jacked up after just one winter, of course pacesetter is junk though.... Go with the greddy sp2 exhaust, full stainless, and awesome sound!

Ok anyways, ive researched and it says that only the canister on the N1 is stainless. What is the piping made out of?
Someone with expierence with the N1 and rust got any comments?

Tanabe and Apexi are stainless steel. Greddy will rust, and so will HKS.

On the description of the N1 it says that the canister is stainless, nothing about the piping

stainless steel arent supposwe to rust..but if u dont wanna throw away a 500 exhaust because it does end up rustin, than i suggest a car wash every week.

the n1's are NOT ss!!!
see the black piping??? its not ss. the gt spec is ss, but thats for turbo apps. the greddy is not ss either as well as hks (except their anniversary hiper) id suggest thermal, all their exhausts are stainless steel. comptechs are ss, dc's are, invidia is, jic's are, and skunk 2's are to my knowledge.
